Three Agribusiness Leadership Shifts Land in a Single Week
Medosweet Farms names Jim Reynolds CEO effective Oct. 1, AGCO taps Luis Felli to lead Massey Ferguson, and Avient installs Mike Frank as president and CEO immediately.
Market notes
- Medosweet Farms names Jim Reynolds CEO effective Oct. 1.
- AGCO named Luis Felli senior vice president and general manager of Massey Ferguson.
- Avient Corporation appointed Mike Frank president and CEO, effective immediately.
- All three appointments affect farm-input sectors: dairy, equipment and materials.

Medosweet Farms will install Jim Reynolds as chief executive officer on Oct. 1, the most concrete date in a cluster of leadership changes now reshaping three companies that touch the farm supply chain from fluid milk to tractors to specialty chemicals.
The announcement arrives alongside two other appointments. AGCO has named Luis Felli senior vice president and general manager of Massey Ferguson, the tractor brand at the core of the equipment maker's portfolio. Avient Corporation, a supplier of specialized material and color solutions, has appointed Mike Frank president and CEO, effective immediately.
For Reynolds, the Oct. 1 start date anchors the transition. Dairy processors and their grower-members watch CEO changes closely, because leadership sets the tone for milk pricing strategy, plant investment and member relations.
What does this change for growers?
Three answers, one per company.
- Medosweet Farms. A new CEO from Oct. 1 means member dairies should expect a reset in priorities, though the company has not yet detailed any shift in milk procurement or pricing policy.
- Massey Ferguson. Felli takes over as SVP and general manager at a moment when equipment dealers and row-crop buyers weigh financing costs against replacement demand. Brand-level leadership signals where AGCO will place product and dealer-support emphasis.
- Avient. Frank's immediate appointment puts a new hand on a company whose inputs feed packaging and ag-adjacent material supply. Procurement teams will meet the new CEO's cost and portfolio agenda in coming quarters.
Executive moves at this level rarely change agronomy. They change margins — through capital allocation, dealer terms and pricing posture — and those effects surface over quarters, not weeks.
The three appointments share one feature: each lands directly on a farm-input touchpoint. Medosweet sits at the farm gate in dairy. Massey Ferguson sits in the machinery shed. Avient sits upstream in materials. A change at the top of any of them eventually reaches the grower's ledger.
None of the three companies has announced policy changes alongside the appointments. Reynolds has the only dated start among them, Oct. 1. Felli's role is effective as announced. Frank's is immediate.
Watch the first quarter after each executive settles in. Budget cycles, dealer meetings and milk-check negotiations will reveal whether these appointments carry operational weight or simply a new signature on the same plan.
